in a special program held at the Sapidar Palace, Chief Executive Dr. Abdullah appreciated a number of doctors and health sector staff for their day and night hard-works, CE office said in a statement.
Attended by CE deputies, minister of public health and hundreds of doctors and health sector staffs, Dr. Abdullah said no one could ignore tiredness efforts of the health sector staffs, the statement further said.
At the outset, the hospital’s doctors and specialists briefed the CE about the challenges before health sector, adding, lack of budget, high taxes, low salary and lack of personnel are among the main concerns they are facing with, the statement added.
Dr. Abdullah said, “A health committee under the framework of council of ministers (CMs) would be established as a move to solve the problems in health area, adding the ministry of public health and other related health unions and sectors should recognize the challenges and propose it to CMs health committee so to find ways for their solution,” the statement continued.
Expressing glad to be among his co-workers, Dr. Abdullah stressed further attention should be paid on prevention instead of treatment.
He added proper health services positively affect society’s development, economic growth and restoring peace and stability in the country.
At the end, the CE said he would make effort to provide better working grounds for doctors.
